I believed the same thing (and still do on some level), Jenners. In my mind, authors are these omnipotent beings who somehow create entire worlds in their heads in a way that us mere mortals cannot. LOL

Plus, when people hold them in such high regard, it's difficult to live up to all those expectations, so I truly feel for them. Reading their blogs definitely helps to remind us of their very human (and very fallible) element.

BTW, what was the book light recommendation? I have about 6 of them and not one actually does what I need for it to do...:D

Interesting. I had an author stop by my blog on the very day I started reading her book! It was really weird! She gave me a recommendation for a book light in response to one of my posts. In my mind, I feel like authors are not regular people but some rarefied and special beings ... but I know they are just regular people. In visiting this author's blog, I found that out! It was really cool!

Hi Bluestocking, yes getting the advance info on upcoming books is also a nice side effect of reading author blogs. I probably should have included that.

I feel the same way. Since I enjoy writing, I want to find out more about the writing process. Love the pastel colors on your blog. Very warm and cozy feeling.
