She, I love the idea of organizing based on size. Maybe I should give some thought to that... Jackie, you have just said what I was worried about...what happens when I get new books (which does happen quite a bit)? I see two possibilities: 1) I'll be forced to be ruthless about the books I will keep; or 2) I will pull out all of my hair from frustration because I'll need to reorganize every other day. *sigh* I don't know if I can organize by genre though because I have so many of them that it would be a pain in the arse. And you're right...it looks like the only way to be completely organized (and even then it's hit or miss) is by going digital, but I <strong>love</strong> the feel of an actual book in my hands and the feel of the paper as I flip the pages. :/ ah well. One day the perfect solution will arise. I'm hopeful. Thanks for the support ladies.

I stopped trying to alphabetize them when it became a hassle to continuously move novels so that everything could be in the right order. I do keep my signed copies separate from all my others though.
