I’m still trying to get through Fallen and it’s difficult. The story isn’t capturing me. At least with Hush, Hush the writing moved the story briskly forward, but I’m not getting the same thing with Fallen. I’m about halfway through right now and I’ve just set it aside. I might come back to it and give it another go since I do eventually want to review it properly.

It is slated to be the first in a series, yes. As for whether it is similar to Twilight, I haven’t yet completed it, but for the most part, I have seen some similarities.
