It’s not the last sentence, but it’s close to the last…it reveals a detail about Marshall that made me do a double-take. Didn’t expect it at all.

nice! i read it and agree with you. by the single sentence torturing you in the epilogue…do you mean the last sentence? cause that’s what’s torturing me now too :/

The book copy as well as your review make this book sound fantastic!! I love a good thrill and the amount of tension that you described this book to have sounds right up my alley. I look forward to reading this, hopefully in the near future.

I must read this now. And no you’re not the only one who’s noticed the series thing. I f-ing HATE that! One huge example of that is The Strand by Guillermo del Toro. I was expecting so much from it and the book is basically introducing you to tons of characters without really giving much of a story. It’s annoying as heck. I thought it was very interesting but dang, I want a story!
Anyway, I definitely can’t wait to get my hands on this book. I love the cover and how interesting and funny sounding the protagonist is. The horror part does not make it sound less interesting at ALL.
